Join the debate and attend the MODERN conference in Brussels on 9 June to discuss the challenges to modernise university governance in Europe with senior university leaders, providers of higher education management programme and representatives from the European Commission.

Under the leadership of Frans van Vught, President of ESMU (www.esmu.be)
MODERN - European platform higher education modernisation - is an initiative of 10 core and 26 associate partner European associations and academic providers of higher education management programmes to address the modernisation agenda for European universities. The recent European Commission communication "A new partnership for the modernisation of universities: the EU Forum for University Business Dialogue" (April 2009) highlighted once again the need for strong university governance, so our MODERN Governance conference comes at the right time.
